Key features of this Skytech Gaming 011 Vision PC

Ryzen 7 7700X processor

This gaming PC features the Ryzen 7 7700X processor, which is a very good value, mid-range option for gaming, multitasking, and productivity. It has a 5.4Ghz boost clock speed and a large 32MB L3 cache, which makes it a good option for CPU-bound games, like Valorant and CS: GO, for high refresh rate gaming. For the RTX 5070, it’s very much in line with its capabilities, without being overkill. On the multitasking front, you’ve got 8 cores and 16 threads, which is going to be decent if you want to, say, stream in 1440 at high fps without encountering significant performance dips. It’s also a good way to go if you’re planning on working in applications like Adobe Premiere Pro and Blender, both of which benefit from higher core and thread count CPUs. Check out our review for a deeper dive.

RTX 5070 graphics card

The RTX 5070 is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p you can get, especially if you want something packed with the latest gen components and technology. It’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, which is optimized for faster ray tracing performance and boasts impressive AI capabilities. You’ve got 4th-gen RT cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and faster, higher bandwidth GDDR7 VRAM, coming in at 12GB. On top of this, there are some exclusive 50-series features to help enhance gaming performance further, such as MFG, which can insert multiple frames between frames for a visually smoother experience similar to playing at high fps. Storage and RAM

You’ve got a 1TB SSD here, which is enough storage for a good handful of AAA games, and you’ve also got 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is great to see as it’s not always the case with RTX 5070 builds. Notable benefits of this amount of RAM include better, smoother performance in open-world games, better handling of running multiple heavy applications at the same time, and loads of headroom for editing large, multilayer files typically encountered in Photoshop, Blender, and more.

Things to consider

If you’re after better gaming performance, for a good price, I’d say it’s worth looking at some Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5070 builds instead, which tend to hover between $1,800 and $2,000 from my experience. These have a huge 96MB L3 cache, boost clock speed of 5GHz, and the same 8 cores and 16 threads as the Ryzen 7 700X, and aren’t too. much more expensive now that it’s been a few years since their release. If workstation capabilities and multitasking are important for you, I’d say going for an Intel i7-14700F, RTX 5070 build is another good way to go, and will be similarly priced to this Skytech PC in many cases.
