During the Arc World Tour 2025-2026 Finals announcements concerning Peni Parker in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Jam Kuradoberi in Guilty Gear Strive and “Season 2.60” for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising were dropped.
At the big event, a trailer for Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes was also dropped. Like with Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, this was essentially an “announcement of an announcement” sort of deal.
At least one more new character is coming to Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes. This unnamed fighter is set to join the roster sometime here in 2026.
We get a brief look at the silhouette of the mysterious challenger. This silhouette’s appearance gives us the impression of an antagonistic female.
Though she’s wearing a hood, we can already see a good bit of her face. Long nails are protruding from her fingers.
Of course, we don’t get to see any of her gameplay, but her appearance could be pointing towards her being a zoner. Indeed, she has a very witch-like appearance that would be befitting of a zoner.
