This is obviously very late and a pretty unserious. I don't play counter strike, but I have a friend who has been playing recently and it brought me back to wondering if anyone knows what could've caused me to get a VAC ban.
I have around 27 hours in cs, and most of it is just casual. After the ban I just uninstalled the game and maybe opened it twice since. When it first happened I looked into what could have caused it a bit, mainly because having big label on my profile saying I am banned looks pretty ugly. Most of what I found really just said that VAC bans are accurate and any wrongful bans will be removed. I waited for it to get removed for a while but when it never happened I just stopped caring.
I still use the same PC as I did back then, so I can give out information regarding hardware or software if anyone knows what might've caused it. I don't know if I can show stats or anything to prove I didn't cheat, but at this point I'm just curious as to what could've gotten it on there, I'm not really desperate to get it removed.
