Anyone remember when the clans/group came out I remember it was called regiment but not anymore. When it first came out there was a bug where if you added the character & and numbers or some specific letters after it it would color code the later that comes after the 2 first characters. Now to me this makes sense because that is how you code colors in some rare coding languages. Not many though.
So when you added &1V you would get a red V
And then since you could put the color code not only in the regiment name but the clan tag as well. When you added say &2E you would get a green clan tag and that green color also overrides your in game name tag color to green on everyone’s eyes.
So the enemy would see green names when in actuality it should be red for (enemy)
From memory color codes are
&1 Red
&2 green
&3 yellow
&4 blue
&5 cyan
&6 pink
&7 gray
&8 white
I don’t remember any other codes. It’s also coincidental that those codes are also Minecraft color coding for in game text for anywhere you can put words.
Now when it was patched it broke all the clan tags and it display the color code and letter but with no color so instead of seeing just the clan tag (Green). You would see (&2Green) so it broke sadly.
Butt when this all happened I also tried it on the clan name and it worked. So I made a clan name Veteran___ and used one color code for each letter so in reality the name was
&1V&2e&3t&4e&5r&6a&7n&8___
And after everything was patch I noticed my clan name was still color coded. I don’t know anyone else who has a group with this on it. Now the sad part is during this time I switched from ps4 to Xbox one s and tried to unlink my account and link it to Xbox and that broke my account and I lost access to the regiment as owner and all my gold/platinum camos and rare battle pass items lost forever in the wind. This made me give up the pursuit of Damascus.
But I had made my brother an officer of the clan so he can invite and kick people so I could kind of manage the regiment.
Now it’s 2026 march 16 and I notice the steam sale of the game for 5 bucks and I’m like that’s pretty cool. A week later I see the player count skyrocket so I hop on and lo and behold it’s still there.
Anyone else own a regiment like this. I’d love to see the names
