For the first time since retiring following the 2022 NFL season, Tom Brady is set to take the field at a major football competition.

Brady is playing in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, as he and Joe Burrow seek to lead Founders FFC to a win in the Round Robin tournament.

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic marks an important milestone ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Talent evaluators will get a chance to look at how some of the NFL’s best players perform during the flag football showcase as Team USA considers how to build its roster ahead of flag football’s Olympic debut.

The many NFL players involved in the showcase – a list that includes Burrow, Saquon Barkley, Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith, among others – will get a chance to show off their skills while current members of the U.S. men’s national flag football team will also field a team of their own.

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic will begin at 4 p.m. ET on March 21 and is scheduled to run until 7:30 p.m. ET.

The event will feature a Round Robin tournament among the three participating teams: Founder FFC, Wildcats FCC, and Team USA Football.

Fox is set to broadcast the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday, March 21.

Where is the Fanatics Flag Football Classic?

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic is set to be played at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The venue – which is home to MLS’ Los Angeles Football Club and the NWSL’s Angel City FC – can seat up to 22,000 fans and will be the home of flag football at the 2028 Olympics.

Originally, the Fanatics Flag Football Classic was scheduled to be held at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. However, the event’s organizers opted to move the showcase amid the Iran war and travel advisories in the Middle East.
