Hey I just thought Id drop in and share this workstation that Ive been using and refining for the last couple years.. Its called the Cunningham. This is the 3rd revision, and its based around the Ikea Poang. The workstation is entirely self contained, with the exception of an optional footrest.
I used this daily for my entire workday, and its extremely comfortable. I had another design a couple years back that used the Ikea Pello.. which is a cheaper, less comfortable chair. My goal was to do something similar with the much more comfortable Poang, and after some trial and error I can confidently say that I think Im "there" with this one.
It is really simple and straightforward to build. I have a build video up on Youtube, and full blueprints for how to make it. Im not sure if I am allowed to leave links here, so I wont, but it should be searchable.
