Henrietta, N.Y. — Millennium Games on Jefferson Road is set to undergo a major expansion.

The Henrietta Town Board has approved a plan to create an additional space inside the 28,000-square-foot store, which is one of the country’s largest brick-and-mortar gaming retailers.

The space will be used to hold events and serve food and drinks.

Town Supervisor Stephen Schultz said more successful commercial projects in Henrietta helps to keep taxes lower for residents.

“I remember when that business was first starting,” Schultz said. “It was a small little area, and it just keeps growing. It brings a lot of gamers to the area who spend money in the region, so it helps not just Millennium Games, but other businesses nearby.”

The town board also voted to approve a plan to build a Raising Cane’s restaurant on Jefferson Road.
