LAKE PLACID — The Empire State Winter Games were held Feb. 5-8 and the Jamestown Skating Club had 15 skaters compete, with 11 returning with medals.

The Empire State Winter Games is the largest Olympic-style winter sporting event in the north east. Opening ceremonies include the parade of athletes and torch relay, ending in the lighting of the cauldron.
Members of the JSC will present “Skating Ever After” at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday at Northwest Arena in Jamestown.
